1. Unzip the download to somewhere sensible, such as C:\Shop
2. Double click Setup Windows.bat one time
3. Double click Open Program.bat, or the new desktop shortcut

1. Unzip the download and move the folder to your Documents
2. Double click Setup Mac.command one time
3. Double click Open Program.command, or the icon now in your Applications folder

Sign in as admin with the password admin. You will be asked to change it right away. Fill in your business name, address, and logo when prompted, and you are ready to trade. 🎊

🖱️ A desktop shortcut is created automatically, on the shared desktop that every user account on the computer can see.

🧪 Practice First. Break Things. It Is Fine.

The software arrives loaded with sample products, sample customers, and two weeks of invented sales, so every screen has something in it while you learn. Ring up a sale. Print a receipt. Take a delivery. Run a report. Close the drawer. Nothing you do can cause any harm. 😊

When you are ready for real trading, one button clears the demonstration data.

🔒 Only the samples are removed. Anything you entered yourself stays exactly where it is, and the samples never come back on their own. This is not a promise, it is a tested behavior: the automated test suite clears the sample data, restarts twice, and confirms it stayed cleared.

📌 Please Read Before You Buy

The setup file installs everything the software needs into its own folder and does not alter the rest of your computer. Uninstalling is simply deleting the folder.

If Python is not already on your machine, the setup will tell you clearly and point you to the free download. This adds about two minutes, one time only. We would rather say this plainly here than have it surprise you afterward. 🤝

What this software does not do: it does not connect directly to a card terminal, it does not run on phones or tablets, it does not do payroll or full double entry accounting, and it does not sync between shops over the internet. If any of those are essential to you, this is not the right product and we would rather you knew now.

❓ Questions We Get Asked Most

Is there really no monthly fee? 💰 Correct. One payment. Nothing to renew, nothing to expire, nothing to reactivate.

Does it need the internet? 📡 Only during the one time setup. After that it runs completely offline, forever.

Where does my data live? 🔒 In one file inside the software's own folder, on your computer. It is never transmitted anywhere.

Can I move it to another computer? 💻 Yes. Copy the whole folder, including onto a USB drive, and it carries on exactly where it left off.

Can two tills use it at the same time? 🏪 Two or three tills against a shared folder on a wired local network works well. A weak wireless connection is not recommended, and we would rather tell you that than have you find out on a busy Saturday.

Will it work with my barcode scanner? 📷 Almost certainly. Nearly every USB scanner behaves like a keyboard, which is exactly what the software expects. Plug it in and scan.

Will it work with my receipt printer? 🖨️ Yes. Receipts are produced as PDFs sized for your roll width and print through your operating system like any other document. Cash drawers triggered by the receipt printer open normally.

Can I use my own logo? 🏷️ Yes, and you should. It appears on receipts, reports, and exported workbooks. Without one, the software uses your initials in a neat badge instead.

What happens to my sales history over the years? 📚 Nothing is ever deleted. Corrections are posted as new entries, so your history always adds up and always explains itself.

Is it a one time license per computer? 🖥️ Yes. One purchase covers one shop. Message us if you run several locations and we will sort something out.
